Important information related to COVID-19

De La Salle Collegiate has been monitoring state and federal guidance and seeking advice from health experts in an effort to plan responsibly for the 2020 summer camp season. It is difficult to determine what safety measures will be required this summer to minimize the exposure of COVID-19 among members of our community. Therefore, De La Salle has decided to cancel its in person 2020 summer camps scheduled for June and July.

De La Salle Collegiate is proud to offer a wide variety of academic, artistic, and athletic summer camps. The camps are for students, boys and girls, entering grades 3-12 (unless otherwise noted).

REMINDER: All campers must submit a signed Release and Liability Form on or before the first day of camp in order to participate.

Summer Camps provide an excellent experience for young students to learn and develop. According to the American Camp Association, young students have seven developmental needs:

  1. Physical Activity
  2. Competence and Achievement
  3. Self-Definition
  4. Creative Self-Expression
  5. Positive Social Interactions
  6. Structure and Clear Limits
  7. Meaningful Participation

The De La Salle Collegiate Summer Camps experience provides these developmental needs for students. Consider camps as the perfect partner to help your child learn and develop independence, decision-making skills, social and emotional skills, character building and values – all in a safe atmosphere. The Lasallian mission of fostering positive relationships will only reinforce a student’s faith, character, intellect, and morality.
