Sophomore Ben VanBerkum is the April Student of the Month.
Ben was nominated by Mrs. Granger and Mr. Koch.
Mrs. Granger notes that Ben has been very helpful in several aspects of the website, setting up an RSS feed and Daily Bulletin subscription feed, as well as working diligently with the DLS Tech Club in producing regular podcasts about DLS sports.
Mr. Koch cites Ben's involvement with the Global Trade Mission activity.
Ben carries a 4.5 GPA, and is also involved with the Science Olympiad team and the WAMS Set Crew. His favorite class is Spanish. He attended St. Paul Catholic Grade School (Grosse Pointe), and lives with his parents Mark and Michelle in Grosse Pointe Park.
