Littlejohn art work featured in four exhibits

Tuesday, April 29, 2008   (0 Comments)
DLS Art teacher Mr. Bill Littlejohn will have art work exhibited in four different shows over the next few months.

In Rochester, MI, at the Loov.  The show runs May 2 - 30.  The exhibit is being coordinated with a "Gallery Crawl" for all the galleries in Rochester.

In Romeo, MI, at the Graubner Library.  The Romeo Guild of Art exhibit opens May 4.  The members' only show runs for three weeks.

In Mt. Clemens, Mi, at the Anton Art Center.  The invitational show, "Adversity, Change, and Rebirth" opens May 18.  Sponsored by Turning Point, a shelter for women and children, the show draws attention to the plight of battered and/or sexually abused women.  Displayed art includes work created specifically for this show by invited area artists, as well as art created by Turning Point women and children.

In Grand Rapids, MI at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. The national juried exhibit, sponsored by the Great Lakes Pastel Society, pulls entries from across the United States. The theme for the show is small paintings - anything under 18" by 24".  The show will be open most of the month of June.  Littlejohn's entry is pictured at left.
