County track honors announced

The DLS Varsity Track Team was named Macomb County Team of the Year in Division 1. Additionally, Coach Bob Blunk earned his first Coach of the Year title, sharing that honor with the coach from Roseville. Coach Blunk has been named County Coach of the Year seven times, but this is his first recognition for track.

Named to the All Macomb County First Team were

Phil Nahirniak, Discus

Ben Miller, 1600 Run

Alex Guyon, 300 Intermediate Hurdles

Named to the Second Team were

Matt Wilkinson, Discus

Joe LaRocca, 400 run

Ben Miller, 3200 run
