The varsity baseball team picked up its THIRD championship in eight days, defeating Grosse Pointe South 5 - 4 in the regional championship game on June 6. The regional trophy was added to THIS week's hardware: the CHSL trophy and the District trophy. The Pilots last won the state championship in 2000. The Pilots knocked off Utica Stevenson 9 - 0 in the semi-final game earlier in the day.
The Pilots won the District Championship on May 30, beating Cousino 7 - 3 in 10 innings, and Warren Mott 11 - 1 in six innings to win the District Championship.
CHSL Championship: The Pilots defeated Divine Child 7 -2 to win the CHSL baseball A/B title. The baseball team joins the football, soccer, bowling, and basketball teams with this FIFTH CHSL title for the Pilots this year! This is the Pilots' first CHSL title in 12 years.
