At De La Salle Collegiate, we know deciding where to earn your high school diploma is a big one. We want to make sure you get your questions answered, so we provide many opportunities to connect you with our Admissions team of academic advisors. Whether you're a current middle school student, transfer student or international student, come visit De La Salle to see firsthand what is so special about our community. We offer a variety of opportunities to tour campus, speak with students, and meet members of our faculty and administration.
Pilot for a Day Visits
De La Salle's Pilot for a Day program gives prospective students the opportunity to experience a typical school day at The Collegiate by shadowing a current student. In order to give shadow students the best experience possible, reservations must be made. Prospective students are paired with one of our student ambassadors. De La Salle Collegiate offers a two-day class to prepare eighth-grade boys for the High School Placement Test. This class is taught by teachers who are proficient in their respective fields. The 2019 class will take place on Oct. 15 & Oct. 22 at De La Salle, and Oct. 16 & Oct. 23 at St. Lawrence in Utica. Students meet each day for three hours, from 4-7 p.m.

Archdiocese Regional Nights
This fall, Detroit area Catholic grade schools are hosting Catholic High School Information Nights. These informational events are for families to learn more about high schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit. If you are a parishioner or live nearby one of these locations, we encourage you to attend and learn more about De La Salle Collegiate. Representatives from our Admissions Office will be present at the following Information Nights.

- Wednesday, Oct. 16 at St. Thecla, Clinton Township
- Monday, Oct. 21 at St. Anne, Warren
- Tuesday, Oct. 22 at St. Germaine, St. Clair Shores
Prospective parents are invited to visit the campus and to share a cup of coffee with members of De La Salle's Admissions and Counseling staffs. Held on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m., the monthly coffee talk does not have a set agenda or topic and are truly meant to be a casual atmosphere for the parents to learn about the opportunities for their son(s) at De La Salle.
Students may take the test at any archdiocesan high school and have the option of sending their results to up to two different schools. To be eligible for scholarships at De La Salle, or for admission to De La Salle Collegiate itself, prospective students completing the exam at another high school must indicate at the time of testing that they would like their results shared with De La Salle Collegiate.

Future Pilots Appreciation Nights
Any and all prospective students are invited to attend one or more of our Future Pilots Appreciation Nights, showcasing some of our extracurricular activities, including fine arts and athletics. Any prospective student from any grade level who attends will:
– Hear from the coach or director before the game or performance.
– Receive a De La Salle T-shirt.
– Be given a voucher for food.
– Meet with De La Salle school representatives.
– Watch the game or performance from VIP seating.
De La Salle Collegiate is home to several camps focused on academic preparation, artistic skills and athletic ability. Our highly experienced and professional staff lead summer camps that are directed and informative in a safe atmosphere and fun environment.
