Ready to begin your De La Salle Collegiate journey?

This is the first step in the admissions process. Families who are interested in enrolling a student at De La Salle Collegiate must begin by submitting an application for admission.
Think of this as "I'm interested, and I'd like to be considered."

To begin the application process, please read and follow the steps below. Please note: the requirements listed below are general guidelines, and final application decisions are at the discretion of De La Salle Collegiate.

Application Process

9th Grade Application Process

Step 1 - Submit the Online Application

Step 2 - Register for The High School Placement Test (HSPT)

HSPT: (High School Placement Test) This is a national high school exam written by Scholastic Testing Services. The exam covers five areas: verbal, language, reading, math skills and quantitative math (math aptitude). This test is mandatory and will help determine your placement in De La Salle Collegiate's academic program. More information on HSPT.

There is a $50 fee to take the test. All formal test sites have been completed for this year. To schedule a test date, please contact our Admissions Department, admissions@delasallehs.com.

Students do not need to test at De La Salle Collegiate but must select DLS to receive their scores.

Step 3 - Transcript and Teacher Recommendation

During the online application in Step 1, you provided De La Salle Collegiate with a contact for us to send a records requests to your student's current school for the following documents:

Transcript Release
- Transcripts will include 6th, 7th, and 8th grade report cards along with any standardized test history.
Teacher Recommendation
- An online recommendation will be sent to the teacher for them to fill out.

Transfer Student Application Process

Step 1 - Complete Online Transfer Application

De La Salle Collegiate accepts transfer students at each semester break (at the beginning of the first semester in late August or at the beginning of the second semester in mid January). Seniors are typically not considered for transfer status.

If you are wanting to apply for the 2025-26 current school year, please contact admissions below before starting an application.

If interested in having your son visit De La Salle, please contact the Admissions Office.

Step 2 - Schedule a Transfer Student Interview

Step 3 - Transcript and Teacher Recommendations

In order to be considered, the transfer student must provide the following:

Official Transcript Release
- An official transcript from the previous school. It must contain grades from previous classes as well as any standardized tests taken.
Teacher Recommendation
- Request a teacher recommendation will be sent to the teacher for them to fill out based on contact given in Step 1.

Upon Acceptance

International Students

De La Salle Collegiate accepts students for an F-1 student visa in the fall semester only. In order to be considered for international acceptance, a student must complete the following process by June 1:

Completing the following:
- Transcript / Record Release Form – These transcripts must be translated into English.
- Teacher Recommendation (to be completed by current teacher)
Submit proof of English proficiency by taking the TOEFL and earning a score of 60 or higher.
Send Official Bank Statements in USD and English showing that the student and his family or sponsor can afford the tuition, books and fees, housing, and living expenses of one year at De La Salle Collegiate.
