Ever wonder how to design something new or draw out an idea to show your friends? That's Engineering! Engineering is a profession that contributes to change and improvements in our world. It creates imaginative and visionary solutions to the challenges of the 21st century - the problems of feeding the world, how we will use energy and continue to protect our environment!
In the Intro to Engineering Camp, students will learn manual and computer 3D drawing (CAD) skills. Students will create and design basic two and three-dimensional designs using CATIA (prominent engineering software used worldwide by such companies as Ford, Chrysler, BMW and other auto design companies which exposes them to in-demand real-world skills.
By Engaging in these projects, students will understand how the material covered in camp can be applied in their everyday lives and possibly into their own careers one day.

Camp Goals: The Skill Camp is designed to give each athlete an opportunity to receive focused, intense, position-specific technique training. This concentrated training camp will help each participant have a more positive, productive experience.
What to bring: Each camper should come fully prepared to participate with their own water, mouthpiece, appropriate cleats, and running shoes (in case of bad weather). Camp be will run outdoors, weather permitting.
What we will provide: The DLS Youth Skill Camp provides specialized instruction for Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs, and Linebackers, designed to improve a player's beginning, intermediate and advanced skill levels. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt.
Staff: Our camp is run by current, former NFL Players, current Collegiate players and members of the DLS Coaching Staff. Additional coaches from around the state of Michigan and current along with former Pilot players will also provide instruction.

The goal of the De La Salle Collegiate Baseball camp is to teach and reinforce fundamental skills to all participants in all aspects of the game. The camp is overseen by De La Salle Head Coach John Musachio and his staff of coaches and players, both past and present. Over the past 25 years, DLS has won four Division 1 state titles, six regional titles, and twenty district titles
Players will receive individual attention in all facets of the game including:

- Base Running
- Infield/Outfield Defense
- Speed, Strength, and Agility training

“The fastest game on two feet!!” - That is how the sport of lacrosse is commonly referred to by our legendary Hall of Fame coach, Mike Jolly! It is now one of the state's fastest-growing sports as well! De La Salle Collegiate’s Head Coach Chris Ferrari would like to invite you to a fast-paced, informative, and highly educational camp.
At the De La Salle Collegiate Youth Lacrosse Camp, youngsters meet the DLS coaches and start to learn the terminology of De La Salle Collegiate Lacrosse.
The focus of the camp is fundamentals and covers the following areas:
- Proper passing and cradling technique.
- Proper shooting for middies and attackmen.
- Quick sticks and situational scoring.
- Long passing, proper footwork, slides and clears for defensemen.
Please bring a water bottle (though water and Gatorade jugs will be available to refill your bottle), cleats and sunscreen and indicate your position.
Coaches will expose participants to various offenses and defenses that the De La Salle program runs at all levels. Camp participants will be grouped by the desired position and will receive individual mentoring from the coaching staff. Throughout the camp, the campers will have the opportunity to showcase their learned skills and techniques while participating in live action (no contact) scrimmages.

Did you know that bowling is America’s #1 participation activity - with over 68 million American’s bowling each year? Bowling is a favorite with children/kids ages 5-18 with over 40% of that age group bowling at least once per year. Camp is designed to teach students proper bowling techniques used by professional and amateur bowlers alike. The focus of this camp is to develop biomechanical efficiency through physical game drills. Camp is run by Head Bowling Coach, Jay Lang, and his staff. During camp, students will learn:

Home of the 2022 MHSAA Division 1 State Champions!
Does your son or daughter want to learn how to become more of an effective offensive threat? Then the De La Salle Basketball Camp is for them. The camp will be run by De La Salle Collegiate Head Basketball Coach Gjon Djokaj. Coach Djokaj and staff are in the midst of 3 great seasons. This includes back-to-back final four appearances and one state championship. This season they have been ranked in the top 10 of the state for most of the season and are preparing for another run in the state tournament.
This is an intensive camp that focuses on the basic fundamentals involved in a strong triple threat. Students will be taught new drills that will help them refine their ball handling, triple threat and overall knowledge of the game while also learning time-tested shooting principles. Also included in this camp will be lessons on:
- Protection dribbles
- Shot fakes, Pass fakes
- How to shoot off the dribble
- One second drives
- Attack Moves
- 3-point Shooting Techniques
Through the use of innovative drills, you will learn how to best establish the ability to become an effective threat on offense and improve your ability to score, pass and develop your overall offensive techniques. Players will also get to implement skills by playing one game daily during camp.

De La Salle’s FIRST Robotics team 7762, the AutoPilots, invite you to join us this summer to build a robot. FIRST Robotics offers students a rich and exciting platform to immerse themselves in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through the fun of building robots.
Campers will be divided up into teams where they will work together to construct, program and compete with a Lego Mindstorms robot. To complete the robot, campers will have guided instruction from members of the AutoPilots, but must also develop cooperative strategies and skills that will allow them to complete the robot. These are abilities that will transfer to classes and careers in the science and technology fields.

For the last 29 years, Hall of Fame Coach Thaier Mukhtar and his award-winning staff have led the most popular youth soccer camp in Metro Detroit. Designed and directed by Coach Mukhtar, these camps have welcomed thousands of players across the tri-county region each July. The camp is designed to push players to reach their potential, allow them to train with their friends and teammates, and prepare them for their upcoming seasons. Players will spend the week learning the game the right way, working hard, and most importantly, having fun! Join thousands of camp alumni that have improved their understanding of the game and taken their skills to the next level.
Coach Mukhtar brings 40 years of Boys and Girls Head Coaching experience at both De La Salle Collegiate (1982-2012, 2018-Present) and Fraser High School (2004-2017). He’s coached over 1000 games – compiling an incredible overall record of 840 wins, 231 losses, and 161 ties. Coach Mukhtar, the second-winningest coach in MHSAA history, has led De La Salle to 5 Division 1 State Championships (1990, 1992, 1993, 2000, 2005), 31 District Titles, and 18 Catholic League Titles. Coach Mukhtar has placed an incredible 137 players on All-State and sent 66 former players to NCAA Division 1 Programs. In addition to 10 State Coach of the Year Awards and 2 Midwest Coach of the Year Awards, he has also been named National Coach of the Year. De La Salle Collegiate is excited to offer a camp on How to Succeed Your Freshman Year for 9th grade students. This weeklong camp is designed to provide each student a jump start on how to become a successful De La Salle Collegiate Freshman.
During the week students will:
- Spend 90 minutes each day on English and Math skills with the Freshmen DLS teaching staff.
- Spend 60 minutes each day on Business and Finance as well as learning about the educational and professional opportunities afforded DLS students due to our Christian Financial Credit Union (CFCU) partnership.
- Spend an hour each day participating in physical, team-building activities.
- Learn the organization system all 9th graders are taught at DLS.- Receive their DLS email address and learn how to use the Google Apps for Education tools.
- Hear from the counseling staff about the college application process and why 9th grade can be the most impactful for a student's desire to attend a particular school.
- Learn about what makes De La Salle Collegiate a Lasallian school and how being an alumnus can benefit them for the rest of their lives.

This will be a fun and informative camp that will allow students to learn about anatomy and physiology of the human body and receive practice in many important medical skills including but not limited to:
- Performing a History and Physical Exam.
- Dissecting a fetal pig.
- Learning how to make incisions, suture skin, and tie surgical knots.
- Reading X-rays.
- Using Medical terminology to describe body locations and procedures.
- Learning how to perform first aid and CPR.
De La Salle Collegiate's Medical Camp is a great way to get an introduction and exposure to what a career in the medical field is all about. It is never too early to start making connections and contacts that will make you a stand-out among your peers.

All those nights playing video games can finally pay off…really! Being an avid gamer can now earn you scholarships to universities all over the country. In July of 2016, only 7 colleges offered eSports programs. By 2018, there were 63. Currently, there are over 100 schools that have an eSports program, more than thirty of which offer scholarships (University of Utah, Robert Morris University, and the University of California - Irvine, to name a few).
The eSports camp provides an opportunity to improve all aspects of your game. Participants get to learn how to prepare for and navigate high-pressure situations. So much of eSports is instinctually oriented, so it’s important to be mentally prepared for those moments so that you can rely on those instincts. Participants will also learn how important it is to manage their emotions while playing. Communication is pivotal as well.
The camp will provide you with the ability to learn how to improve and put into practice your communication and leadership skills. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Overwatch participants will receive 1-on-1 coaching as well as breakdowns of their own games. Smash Ultimate participants will be able to put their current and newly acquired knowledge to the test in a round-robin tournament, and Overwatch participants will be able to apply their knowledge and gained skills in live games.

Both groups will meet together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Rammler in Sterling Heights. The Intermediate group will meet Tuesdays at Henriksen’s Driving Range on Van Dyke just south of Hall Road. The Advanced group will meet Tuesdays at Rammler.
Day 1
8 a.m.-12 p.m.: Both groups will meet at Rammler where campers will meet the DLS Coaching Staff. Campers will be instructed in all aspects of golf, including the proper grip, swing techniques, putting techniques, rules of golf, chipping techniques, and proper etiquette on the course.

This will be followed by a wrap-up with both groups on how campers viewed the camp and answer any questions. We will then meet in the clubhouse for lunch, prizes and awards.
Additional Info:
Intermediate campers must have a minimum of a putter, 3 irons, 2 woods and at least 3 golf balls.
Advanced campers must have a full complement of golf equipment including bag, balls and clubs. Advanced campers must also have some prior golf experience, including golf camps, lessons and golf-course playing experience. Camp will be limited to no more than 20 campers. (Advanced Camp will be limited to no more than 9 campers.).

This camp is a great way to reinforce important literary skills and for participants to meet future classmates.
The goal of De La Salle Collegiate literacy camp is to reinforce fundamental literacy skills before entering De la Salle’s rigorous course of study. Participants will be introduced to the 9th grade literature/ comp I curriculum and engage in word study, fluency, and comprehension practice. They will also review literary devices including plot, theme, irony, and character through the short stories that are highlighted in the first semester.
