Builders of Boys. Makers of Men.

De La Salle Collegiate alumni are fathers and grandfathers, sons and brothers, classmates and friends, forever connected and forever changed by their experience at De La Salle in Warren and Detroit. We have members living in all 50 states and throughout Canada, and carry with us our Lasallian education, leading lives of faith, leadership and service.

We will always be Builders of Boys. Makers of Men.

The De La Salle Collegiate Alumni Association offers a number of events, services, and programs for De La Salle and St. Joseph's  alumni. Please update your contact info — even if De La Salle already has the info — so we can be sure to keep in touch, and so you can remain a valuable part of the De La Salle Collegiate Community.

SCRIP is a free way to lower the tuition cost for families. SCRIP is a partnership between non-profit organizations, like De La Salle, and local and national business that results in real dollars to be used for tuition and financial aid. Beginning the program during a student’s eighth-grade year can result in a tuition credit for freshman year. Getting started is easy once you have an enrollment code from Sr. Pat Eeckhout in the Business Office.

  • Create an account and click on Family Sign Up.
  • Use the enrollment code and complete five easy steps
  • Email the following information to Sr. Pat:
    • Your first and last name
    • Preferred email address for our communication
    • Graduation Year of your student
  • Start shopping.  Keep it simple at first. Purchase cards for stores that your family uses regularly

SCRIP orders are released when payment is received. You may want to investigate Presto Pay, especially to take advantage of Reloads and ScripNow. You can also enlist the help of family and friends to purchase Scrip cards for your tuition credits. All proceeds from this program are in the form of tuition credits and are applied once a year. Credits earned in the current school year are available to offset tuition for the next school year. More details and help are always available from Sister Pat; contact her at 586-541-6277.

Mass Cards

De La Salle has an extensive variety of Mass Cards, for special occasions, illness, death, baptism, birthday, new baby, thank you, for your intention, etc. The display is located outside the De La Salle school chapel. Proceeds from cards are used for the Christian Brothers’ overseas missionary work.

Please contact the De La Salle Advancement Office with the name of the deceased alumnus, year of graduation, funeral arrangements, and and the names and graduation years of any immediate family. Whenever possible, the alumni advisor attends the wake or funeral Mass. A donation to the De La Salle Tuition Assistance Fund is a helpful way to honor the memory of the deceased. We can provide convenient envelopes to the funeral home. Obituary Form
