A group of more than two dozen De La Salle Collegiate alumni in the legal profession, including judges and legal support personnel, gathered recently to form the Pilot Bar Association.

Led by alumnus David Viviano, ’90, a Michigan Supreme Court Justice, the group selected the name, as well as forming both a bylaws committee and a nominating committee.

Those two committees will meet over the next 90 days, and plan an mid-September event.

Mr. Dennis Koch, ’94, DLS Alumni Director, said, “This was an excellent start. We have already had involvement with our legal alumni, assisting with our DLS Mock Trial Team. This Bar Association will be great for our current students, as well as recent grads in college and in law school.”

Interested alumni should contact Dennis Koch at dkoch@delasallehs.com or 586.541.6221 to be added to the mailing list.
