Alumni Will Direct Fall Drama

Two De La Salle Collegiate alumni return “home” this Fall to direct the Fall Drama Production, “Moon Over Buffalo,” scheduled for performances December 1 and 2. Audition information.

They are John Forlini (‘89) and Dominic Aldini (‘12). John will be Lead Director, and Dominic will serve as Assistant. Both participated in the De La Salle Collegiate Wig and Mask Society  (WAMS) all four years of high school, and both are graduates of Michigan State University.

John owns Che Cosa, a coffee house and roasting company in Mt. Clemens. He started the Box Theatre in a space adjacent to the Coffee House, and has extensive directing and production experience, as well as performance credits. At MSU, where he earned his degree in Advertising, he performed in West Side Story, and post-graduation, performed at Meadowbrook Theatre and at the Lexington Music Theatre. He’s had roles in plays Evita to Miss Saigon. His directing credits are extensive, including Chicago, On Golden Pond, and Driving Miss Daisy. He began teaching Marketing this Fall at Fraser High School.

Dominic participated in the De La Salle Marching Band,and was a two-year member of the Spartan Marching Band. He also played in the Spartan Brass Band for five years. He graduated in 2016 from MSU with a degree in Film Studies.
