Dear Pilot Family,
We would like to welcome Mrs. Mary Groesbeck-Balamucki who will begin teaching AP Biology, CP Biology, and Anatomy beginning Tuesday. Mrs. Mary Groesbeck-Balamucki is a veteran teacher who has taught at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences and with Warren Consolidated.

We wish all of our athletes and coaches the best of luck in their season. Please consider attending and/or volunteering at our games; the Pilot family shows great sportsmanship and spirit!
A reminder that our First All School Mass is September 10 at 9:30 am at the St. John Baptiste De La Salle Field. Boys will need to be in their liturgy dress shirts with the school tie. Our regular weekly morning Wednesday masses at 7:05 am in the school chapel will begin on September 8! Fr. Gambala from St. Malachy’s is our usual celebrant.
The 10th-grade class will attend a retreat on September 8 at St. Faustina’s. The cost is $10 and will be added to your FACTS tuition account to cover lunch that day. The boys are to be in full school dress code.
Wednesday, September 8 from 6:00-8:00 pm is our Back to School Night. Parents can walk through their son’s schedule, ask teachers questions, and get acquainted with the school. Detailed, specific information about Back to School Night can be found HERE.
Thursday, September 30 is our Annual Favorite Teacher breakfast; our current freshmen will invite their teachers from elementary or middle school to attend. More information is forthcoming.
Senior parents….the college application process has begun! Make an appointment to see your counselor ASAP. Underclassmen, it is a good practice to also stop by the counseling office to touch base.
Our Evening of Delights will take place on Saturday, October 2! We hope that you will join us for this special night in our school! Tickets are limited. Order HERE.
A reminder that there is No School Friday, September 3, and Monday, September 6 due to the Labor Day Holiday! May you have a Blessed and rest-filled weekend.
