Dear Pilot Family,

Thankfully we were able to return to in-person instruction this week! Realizing that semester exams can be more challenging and stressful for some students, please reinforce proper sleeping habits, perhaps checking your son’s study guides. Supporting them can help them ease anxiety.

A few reminders concerning next week:

  • Beginning Monday, January 11, Semester Exams will take place, dismissal will take place at 11:20 am. Purple Day Exams on Monday and Tuesday, Gold Day Exams on Wednesday and Thursday. If your son is absent and needs to make up the exams, please contact his Guidance Counselor. Complete information regarding midterm exams can be found HERE.
  • Friday, January 15 will be a Professional Day for our Faculty and Staff and Makeup Exams will take place. No School for the students.
  • We will not have cafeteria service until Tuesday, January 19, which will also be the 1st day of the 2nd semester.
  • A reminder that Monday, January 18 is Martin Luther King Day - No School!
  • As we attempt to get back into the rhythm of school, Robotics will have a gathering on Saturday, January 9, from 11 - 3 pm. If your son is interested in Robotics, please have him see Mr. Black to join or simply show up on Saturday at the school.
  • Mr. Mukhtar’s Jeopardy competition will begin on February 2. This will be the 24th year of the competition. Forms are available in the main office or have your son see Mr. Mukhtar in room 328.

The Varsity Football Team will take on Warren Mott in the Regionals this Saturday at 12 noon! The game will be live-streamed on our website! Go, Pilots!

Winter sports are scheduled to begin next Saturday, January 16. For specific team information please contact the Athletic Department.
