82 Students Inducted into DLS National Honor Society

Congratulations to the 47 seniors and 35 juniors recently inducted into the De La Salle Collegiate National Honor Society (NHS), Brother Arator Justin Chapter.

Separate induction ceremonies were conducted for each group, following COVID-19 protocols.

Students are selected for NHS based on established criteria of character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Mrs. Jeana Page, National Honor Society moderator, said the students are looking forward to helping with Open House on Nov. 22, as well as assisting with additional upcoming alumni events.

Students are engaging in service by tutoring in and out of school, and also within classrooms during instruction time. Page says the group is also looking for service opportunities within the community.

First-time applicants must have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.), and maintain at least a 3.4 cumulative G.P.A. Students must also complete at least three service events, and engage in tutoring within De La Salle or another educational institution, such as the student’s previous grade school.
