A Letter from Brother Ken

The Following is a letter from Brother Ken Kalinowski, FCS, who was named interim principal of his alma mater on Tuesday.

Dear De La Salle Collegiate Families,

It is an honor to now serve you as interim principal of De La Salle Collegiate!

These past few months have given us many challenges, but as we have shown as a community, that together we can meet the challenge! As a proud graduate of De La Salle (Class of 1984), and as a Christian Brother, I pledge to do my best to serve you all, and to continue to strive for academic excellence in our Lasallian Catholic tradition. I believe that we all realize that the health and safety of all our students, faculty, and staff are a priority for all of us.

In Saint John Baptist de La Salle’s writings, he tells the early Brothers and Lasallian partners to meet the students where they are at, and continue to raise them to the next level. We, at De La Salle Collegiate, will do everything that we can to provide our best efforts each day!

Know of my prayers for all of you and your families, and I ask all of you, to continue to pray for the health and safety of our entire community!

May God continue to bless all of you!

Brother Ken Kalinowski, FSC
Interim Principal
De La Salle Collegiate
