A Letter of Gratitude

Teachers/ Faculty and Staff,

I hope this letter finds you and all your families and loved ones safe and healthy.

I just wanted to take some time and write to you this letter thanking you all so much for the past 4 years at DLS. My high school experience here at DLS would not be the same without all of you.

You have all been such a blessing to my life and I cannot repay you and thank you enough for the past 4 years of my life. Even if I’ve had you as a teacher or not, or you have only known me for a year or two, you have all had a tremendous impact on my life to help me develop myself as a man.

What I will truly miss most about this school is seeing my brothers and all your faces every day of the week. You all make DLS such a special place. In my life personally during my times of hardship, you were all there to support me when I had felt lost or broken. This school really does have a brotherhood that cannot be explained and you all make that possible.

In times like these, we need to lean on those that we love, and I’m so glad that all of you have been there to do just that. I can’t really put in words how much you all mean to me and my family, the words don’t do justice to how I actually feel.

With that being said, just thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart, you truly did build a boy, but  somewhere along the way you made
a man.

Thank you, all.
