Congratulations to senior Luke Horlocker, who recently earned his Eagle Scout Award.
A resident of St. Clair Michigan, Luke has been active in Scouts since he was 5 years old. For his project, he built a bell stand for a historical bell to be displayed in front of the township offices in China Township.
For his project, Luke raised $400.
His Boy Scout Troop 261 meets at the Perch Point Conservation Club in Casco Township in St. Clair County. The group has traveled extensively including visiting the mammoth Cave in Kentucky.
At DLS, Luke is a member of the swim team and the National Honor Society.
He took three AP classes during his junior year, including AP Calculus AB, AP U.S. History, and AP Chemistry. This year, he is enrolled in AP Calculus BC and AP Environmental Science.
He carries a 4.05 GPA.
