Congratulations to our 2026 Jeopardy Champions! 

The multi-week annual DLS Jeopardy Tournament involving 268 students in four-man teams divided into upperclassmen and lowerclassmen divisions, concluded March 2. 

The tournament began in early January, right after the Christmas break, and continued until Monday March 2. 

First Place Winners

• In the Junior- Senior Division, the junior finalist team of Jack Simasko, Jackson Pertot, Sam Bowab, and Julian Shahmurad captured first place, and chose Detroit Red Wings tickets as their prize.
• In the Freshmen-Sophomore Division, the freshmen finalist team of William Berent, Carlo DiNello, Mason Sizemore, and Jakub Binkowski captured first place, and chose the sports memorabilia package. 

Jeopardy “Czar” Mr. Thaier Mukhtar, who began the mid-winter event more than 20 years ago, creates all the questions in a variety of categories. 

Mukhtar also solicits prizes from alumni and staff.
