Artistic American Flag Now Hanging in DLS Art Room

Students in Mrs. Stacey Stasinski's Advanced Studio Art and Portfolio Art classes created an American flag to hang in the DLS Art Room permanently.

This piece was made from repurposed magazines, catalogs, and calendars that were donated by the residents of Cedarbrook Senior Living Community in Bloomfield Hills.

The new flag, in a picture frame is now on the north wall of the room and joins the traditional flag hanging from a standard, in the room’s northeast corner.

Recently, Art students created crosses from repurposed materials for Catholic Schools Week posters around the building.
