DLS Board of Trustees Extends President Larry Rancilio’s Contract

De La Salle Collegiate’s Board of Trustees has announced a contract extension for President Larry Rancilio, for the next two years - through June 2024. Board Chair Jack Brusewitz, ‘77, stated that the Board is extremely pleased to announce the
contract extension.

“Since Larry assumed the President’s position in October of 2020, De La Salle and its students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and other stakeholders have witnessed a renewed sense of enthusiasm and pride in being a member of the ‘Pilot Family’”; Brusewitz stated. “We confidently look forward to the future with Larry at the helm.”

Rancilio, a Class of 1986 graduate, has a long and dedicated history with De La Salle, having served on the Board of Trustees, including as Board Chair, and as a coach with the school’s athletic programs, and has also served the Christian Brothers as a ministry board member for the District of Eastern North America (DENA). Additionally, Rancilio is a past parent - Nicholas ‘14 and Ben ‘18 - and was an active parent during his sons’ high school years.

“I would like to thank the Board of Trustees, and, in particular, the Christian Brothers along with the faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends of the school. The trust and confidence that they have shown me over the past year and a half gives me nothing but energy and enthusiasm for the future,” Rancilio indicated.  “While we have a lot to do over the next two and a half years, I know with God’s continued blessing and the support of the De La Salle family we will succeed in our continued mission to develop our young men into faith-based leaders in our Church and Community.”
