DLS Dedicated to Providing Lasallian Catholic Education

Our Lasallian efforts at De La Salle Collegiate include numerous opportunities for students to become involved - attending weekly Masses, participating in Bible Study, saying the Rosary, attending retreats. These activities, and more, such as all-school service days, reflect the school's shared dedication to developing the body, mind, and spirit of every student.

De La Salle Collegiate is grateful for the support of our sponsoring organization DENA (District of Eastern North America) in carrying out our mission.

Recently,  Brother Peter Killeen (DENA District) and Br. Matthew Kotek (Midwest District), both Associate Vocation Directors, visited juniors and seniors the first week of November to discuss vocations with juniors and seniors.

After the visit, Brother Matthew said, "This was my third visit to De La Salle Collegiate and I continue to be impressed by the warm welcome that I have received by the faculty and staff, and especially the students.

"Your commitment to the Lasallian mission and dedication to pastoral leadership of the school makes De La Salle the type of place that people like myself want to come back and visit again."

Lasallian educational efforts also include visits from Brothers who are associated with DENA, the District of Eastern North America, the Brothers of the Christian Schools province.

Br. Ernest Miller, from DENA, presented a Formation Workshop on September 17 for teachers/staff of De La Salle Collegiate.
