DLS Offering Summer Kairos Retreat June 16-19

This June, the DLS Campus Ministry Department is hosting a Summer Kairos Retreat from June 16 - 19, 2025.

Kairos is a retreat program grounded in Christian incarnational theology. It is an experience of the Christian community. Prayer and sacraments are an essential part of this program as well as the participants' involvement.

The program lasts for 3 1/2 days, with the challenge to continue beyond the retreat experience.

There are 20 spots available for students in the Class of 2026 (Juniors) and in the Class of 2027 (Sophomores). More information will be provided once payment is made online

The deadline for payment and registration is Friday, May 16, 2025, or when we hit maximum capacity.

All retreatants must be in good academic standing, may not have any disciplinary concerns, AND must be fully present in school with an exceptional attendance record.

All students (who sign up) are reviewed by the DLS Administration. We reserve the right to not allow a student to attend the Kairos Retreat based on academic performance, disciplinary concerns, attendance concerns, and/or any other concerns that are deemed for review by the De La Salle Collegiate Administration.  A full refund will be provided if a student is not allowed to attend the retreat based on the Administration's Review.

Mr. Westphal particularly encourages students who may play a winter sport to consider attending the summer Kairos.

““Kairos is a time to truly discover your relationship with God while also getting to know your fellow peers,” he said. “This June Kairos is such a gift. There are so many students who want to attend, yet simply cannot due to sports schedules or commitments. It has been almost 12 years since we were able to have three Kairos retreats in a given school year. I urge each sophomore and junior to consider attending in the summer. This is a must-do experience here at DLS.”

Please contact Mr. Westphal with any questions.
