Mrs. Sandra Coccimiglio, known as “Mrs. C.”, has joined the De La Salle Collegiate faculty this year, teaching in the Business Department. Her courses include Introduction to Business/Marketing, Accounting, and Honors Banking; she will also be leading the DECA program.

“So far, I am very excited,” she said. “The faculty and staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive. This feels like home.” 

Mrs. C has been in successful business roles for over 25 years, most recently as Director of Media for Peace Lutheran Church and School in Shelby Township. She has experience in sales, strategy, marketing, management, corporate training, and entrepreneurship; she became a teacher to help students succeed in accomplishing their business goals.

In the last few years, while assisting her ill father, Mrs. C. stepped away from her various business roles. She used the time to assess her career path, and became a substitute teacher before deciding to earn her teaching certification. 

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Cleary University, an associate degree in Marketing from Macomb Community College, and a Michigan Teaching Certificate. She attended Fraser High School. 

Mrs. Coccimiglio is the daughter of Daniel Pacholski, DLS ‘60;  she is happily married, has a daughter, and three rescue dogs, and lives in Shelby Township.
