We're thrilled to share that De La Salle President, Larry Rancilio, '86, has announced the dynamic appointment of our very own alumnus, Brendan Johnson, '15, as the Director of Admissions, starting August 21, 2023! Johnson brings a rich experience as the Director of Admissions from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Riverview, MI.

 

No stranger to De La Salle, Brendan, a proud 2015 graduate, previously worked on campus from 2017-2020 as an integral member of the Alumni Relations team.

 

Brendan radiated enthusiasm as he expressed, "De La Salle is more than a school; it's home. It stands unparalleled as the best Catholic High School in Michigan. I'm exhilarated to reunite with the phenomenal faculty and staff!"

 

President Rancilio added, "Brendan's unyielding passion for Lasallian education and steadfast commitment to inclusive, student-centric methods will be pivotal in our quest to usher in a diverse and gifted student populace."

There's more in store as Brendan rejoins DLS amidst many exhilarating opportunities. We're on the cusp of a groundbreaking era! De La Salle has unveiled a visionary Strategic Plan and kickstarted the awe-inspiring Capital Campaign, "Builders of Boys. Makers of Men, The Next 100 Years." This campaign is set to usher in a state-of-the-art $6.5 million STEM Innovation Center, breaking ground at the finale of the 2023-24 academic year.

 

Brendan shared his heartfelt sentiment, "De La Salle's magic lies in its inclusivity. No matter where you stand academically or whatever your passions, our dedicated staff is right beside you, nurturing and guiding every step."

 

Johnson earned a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, with a specialized focus on business administration marketing from Madonna University.
