Congratulations to Ms. Kelly Larose, selected as the Staff Member of the Year for 2024 - 2025 by the De La Salle Collegiate Faculty and Staff.

Ms. Larose works in the DLS Advancement Department with major responsibilities including being in charge of the annual school raffle. 

She also works behind the scenes for the annual alumni golf outing and the annual Christian Brothers’ Dinner, as well as numerous other Advancement projects in her full-time, year-round role. 

“I am honored,” Ms. Larose said. “I work with great people.” 

DLS Advancement Director Mr. Greg Esler said, “Kelly Larose is one of the hardest working teammates I have ever worked with. She is a very competitive person.She is a valuable asset to our talented and hard-working Advancement team.”

Ms. Larose owns a small manufacturing business in Clinton Township and began volunteering at DLS in 2022 in the Advancement Office “tearing apart raffle tickets.” 

Each day, she was invited to return, and then volunteered to work on other projects before joining the Advancement Department full-time in 2023.  

“I tore apart tickets and never left,” she joked. 

Ms. Larose is the mother of four sons: Dallas Fuqua (Fraser High School, ‘18), Teagan Fuqua (DLS ‘21), Colton Fuqua (DLS ‘24), and Lleyton Fuqua, a current DLS sophomore (Class of 2027). 

Her brother Chad Larose, a former NHL professional, has served as the DLS Hockey coach for the past two seasons. 

A member of St. Thecla Parish in Clinton Township, Ms. Larose attended Fraser High School where she played soccer and travel softball; she continued to play both soccer and softball in adult leagues until COVID hit in 2020.
