More than 45 Pilot volunteers, including students, parents, families, teachers, and alumni, assisted at three parishes on Saturday, December 14. 

The parishes include St. Hyacinth Church, St. Albertus Church, and Pope John Paul II Church (formerly Transfiguration Church).

Volunteers assisted in deep cleaning the churches, hauling large decoration pieces, moving large boxes, and much more. 

The activity is part of “Service Saturdays,” set up monthly to provide service opportunities. 

“As Lasallians, we are proud to live out the value of service within our community during the Advent season,” said Brother Lewis Harwood, FSC, one of the DLS Campus Ministers. “Thank you to all of the Pilot volunteers who served our community.”
