Congratulations to seniors John Emmons and Anthony Schena, recipients of scholarships from the Grosse Pointe Sunrise Rotary. 

Both students were honored at the Rotary’s May 10 meeting at the Ford House in Grosse Pointe. 

John, the salutatorian of the Class of 2022, has a full scholarship to Miami University (Ohio). A long-time hockey player, John will first play junior hockey, in the USHL or NAHL. He is headed to Iowa in early June for tryouts. After a year in juniors, he expects to join the Red Hawks, and major in business. 

Anthony is headed to Hope College, where he plans to major in business. He was recently profiled in the weekly Academic Spotlight
