At the December 8, 2025 Feast of the Immaculate Conception Mass at De La Salle Collegiate, celebrated by Msgr. Chuck Kosanke, DLS ‘77, commissioned three students as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (EMEs).

These students are 

• Drew Maslowski, ‘26, St. Malachy 
• Lukas Moubarak, ‘27, St. Florian
• Kyle Palm, 27, St. Malachy 

Campus Minister Sr. Kathleen Matz, CDP, said the students have been preparing since September. 

The preparation included:

• Meeting with Sr. Kathleen every Tuesday and Thursday morning from September through December.
• Studying/reading/discussing Scripture passages centering around the Eucharist.
• Choosing a Gospel passage where Jesus gave of himself to others, and sharing how that ties in with the Eucharist.
• Practicing distributing the Sacred Eucharist properly and reverently. 

“I was inspired by the devout demeanor of the students preparing to be EMEs. We are grateful for their service,” Sr. Kathleen said.
