As Lent continues, several De La Salle Collegiate students are preparing to receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and/or Confirmation during April. 

The students have been meeting regularly with DLS Campus Ministers Mr. Matt McCroskery for Scripture Study and Sr. Kathleen Matz, CDP, for Sacramental Prep using Catechetical Sessions for the Catechumenate for the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults and Teenagers (OCIA). 

A priority is placed on personal and communal prayer.  
  
The Sacramental students were presented to Fr. Bogdan Milosz, pastor of St. Faustina, for a blessing on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the 8 a.m. DLS School Mass at St. Faustina. 

That presentation precedes additional Holy Week ceremonies: 

• April 2: Holy Thursday - the Washing of the Feet and the Institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper.
• April 3: Good Friday - the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ
• April 4: Holy Saturday - the Celebration and the Resurrection and the Reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation. 

Please keep the following students in your prayers as they continue their preparation for the Sacraments. You are also welcome to attend the Masses of Celebration.

• Cam Stawecki will be Baptized, make his First Holy Communion and be Confirmed at St. Malachy on Holy Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 6 p.m.
• John Williams will be Baptized, make his First Holy Communion and be Confirmed at St. Malachy on Holy Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 6 p.m.

Confirmation at St. Malachy Parish on April 16, 2026 at 7 p.m.
