Although it’s summer, the De La Salle Collegiate HOSA Club sponsored an emergency blood drive, with the American Red Cross, to address the critical need for blood across the United States.

Led by seniors Carter Atkins and Evan Davis, 32 pints of blood were successfully collected; 40 students, faculty and staff, parents, and alumni had booked appointments. 

Special thanks to DLS Alumnus Bill Doetsch, ‘85, who donated; Doetsch is a member of the DLS Board of Trustees. 

The next HOSA Club Blood Drive is scheduled for October 10.
