Three of De La Salle Collegiate’s standout students — Evan Kelley (Junior), Demetrius Kourtakis (Senior), and Nolan Kas-Mikha (Senior) — are representing the school this week at DECA’s prestigious International Career Development Conference (ICDC), joining over 20,000 students from across the globe.
ICDC provides a global platform for DECA members to demonstrate their expertise in marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and entrepreneurship. In addition to competitive events, this conference offers valuable opportunities for growth through the Emerging Leader Series, college and career exhibits, and professional development workshops.
Kelley, Kourtakis, and Kas-Mikha qualified for ICDC after earning top honors at the Michigan DECA State Conference on March 15, 2025. Each student will compete in a specialized category:
- Evan Kelley – Financial Consulting
- Demetrius Kourtakis – Hospitality and Tourism
- Nolan Kas-Mikha – Automotive Services
“We are incredibly proud of these young men and their achievements,” said DECA Moderator Dennis Koch, ‘94. “Their hard work and dedication are a testament to the excellence of our DECA program.”
Good luck, Pilots!
