Two Join Teaching Staff

Two new teachers have joined the De La Salle Collegiate this month.

Mr. Wilson Juncaj, a graduate of Oakland University, has taken over five of the Spanish 1 and 2 classes. Juncaj learned Spanish during elementary school, and continued his studies in college, with plans to become a teacher. He attended Eisenhower High School. His advisor at Oakland is Ms. Renee Haraburda, a Spanish teacher at De La Salle several years ago, now retired from the Troy Public Schools.

Mr. Alex Slavsky is taking over one Theology section of sophomores, relieving Mrs. Jo Marie Ragona, Christian Service coordinator, for at least one period each day to work on Christian Service and liturgy activities. Slavsky also works at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the office of Priestly Vocations as the Marketing Coordinator. He is a graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Theology and Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame.

Please join us in welcoming these new faculty members.
