Congratulations to seniors Brendan Harper and Glen Vasili who have each received a $250 scholarship from the American Red Cross.

Both students, who are headed to the University of Michigan, have been active members of the DLS HOSA Chapter and involved with both the fall and spring blood drives.

The group’s moderator, faculty member Mrs. Mary Balamucki, said both were instrumental in leading the HOSA program.

“They dedicated time, talent and treasure to our many projects this year,” Mrs. Balamucki said. “I am so proud of the work they have done and all we have accomplished in our second year as a HOSA chapter.”
