Twelve DLS International Baccalaureate Program students, along with teachers Mr. Brad Cusumano, Mrs. Stephanie Howay, Mr. Rob Black, and Mrs. Jackie VanThomme, recently journeyed to Montana.
While there, they visited the DLS Blackfeet School in Browning, MT, and did tutoring and exterior painting.
The trip also included a science component, as well as extensive hiking and sightseeing in Glacier National Park. Students worked with a park ranger on a loon survey.
The purpose of the trip was to provide a faith-based experience for students, and to help a struggling and disadvantaged community in the spirit and tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
