FRASER, Mich. (Feb. 8, 2019) – Members of De La Salle Collegiate’s National Honor Society chapter helped brighten the day of a few seniors on Thursday.

The Pilots participated at the annual Sweetheart Dance at Fraser Villa, a senior living facility in suburban Fraser. The students, residents and families enjoyed appetizers and desserts before they danced the night away to songs like “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” by Lou Rawls.

Joining the Pilots were Christian Service director Jo Marie Ragona, science teacher Jim DeHaan, and students from Richards Middle School in Fraser.

“It was fun talking to the people and bringing them to the dance floor,” De La Salle freshman Luka Zachary said.

The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the Sweetheart King and Queen.

The Sweetheart Dance is an annual service opportunity sponsored by the National Honor Society.
