New Teachers Bring Experience

Welcome to these new teachers at De La Salle Collegiate for the 2017-2018 school year.

Mrs. Kate Zelmanski-Maitoza joins the Science Department, and most recently taught in Nevada. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she attended Plymouth-Salem High School. She is teaching AP Physics and Math.

A 27-year veteran of the classroom, Mr. Mike Niedballa joins the Science Department, teaching CP Physics, Honors Physics, AP Physics, IB Physics, and Math. The Cousino High School graduate has a degree from Wayne State University and a Master’s in Science. He most recently taught at Michigan Collegiate High School.

Although new to the Faculty, Mrs. Aarran Meier has been a part of the De La Salle Collegiate staff for the past six years, running the Christian Financial Credit Union (CFCU) branch at DLS, and assisting with the Banking classes, as well as assisting with DECA. Before joining CFCU 13 years ago, the Stevenson High School and Oakland University graduate taught at the former St. Jude Elementary School. She is teaching IB Business, Honors Banking, Accounting, and Marketing.
