This website is intended to provide news and information about De La Salle Collegiate Warren. (DLS) We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content. No part of this site or its contents - including, but not limited to, the school logo - may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise transferred without written permission from DLS.
Privacy ConcernsDe La Salle Collegiate has created this statement to demonstrate its firm commitment to your privacy. De Le Salle does not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit its site, unless you choose to provide such information to De La Salle. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. This policy is your guide to how De La Salle will handle information it learns about you from your visit to its website.
Reading or DownloadingDe La Salle collects and stores only the following information about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example, gmail.com, if you are connecting from a Google account, or umich.edu if you are connecting from the University of Michigan’s domain), the date and time you access the De La Salle site, and the Internet address of the website from which you linked to the site. De La Salle uses the information it collects to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of its website, and to help De La Salle make its website more useful to visitors.
Sending EmailsYou also may decide to send De La Salle personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a web form that provides De La Salle this information. De La Salle uses personally identifying information from email primarily to respond to your requests. Cookies
Using Google Analytics we collect some anonymous information about how you use the site by setting and accessing cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from the web site to your hard drive. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie terminates once you close the browser. A persistent cookie is stored on your hard drive for an extended period of time. The stored cookies will not allow us to learn any personally identifiable information that you have not otherwise disclosed. At no time will the cookies reveal to DLS or to others your name, email address, street address or telephone number.
The use of cookies is an industry standard, and they are currently used on most major websites. However, this may significantly alter what you are able to see or access on the DLS website.
