Senior Justin Fischer signed a National Letter of Intent on November 15 to play basketball at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

The 6’4″, 180 lb. point guard is rated as one of the best passers in the state by several outlets, including PrepHoops and Endless Motor. Coach Greg Esler said Justin was the top recruiting choice for LSSU, and also praised his point guard skills. Justin also is a two-year captain with a 4.0 GPA.

Justin has played on the varsity three years, although he was injured with a broken ankle during his sophomore season. He bounced back junior year, and was named All CHSL Central. He plays for TEAM in the AAU circuit.

Justin is the second Pilot to attend LSSU as a basketball scholarship player. The first was Mark DeSmet, ’78.
