Congratulations to Mrs. Sheryl Anderson, our De La Salle Collegiate Staff Member of the Year! Mrs. Anderson was selected by her DLS colleagues for this recognition.

A member of the DLS Information Technology (IT) Department since 2010, Mrs. Anderson works with Mr. Dennis Parks to support faculty, staff, and students in using technology for both academics and internal school operations.

Principal Mr. Steve Stewart said, “Mrs. Anderson always does an admirable job trying to assist students, faculty, and staff wherever she can. I have been impressed with her initiative and always striving to keep her colleagues informed with practical nuggets of best-practice. Her colleagues selected her no doubt due to her infectious desire to constantly improve and always with a smile!”

Mrs. Anderson said, “My most satisfying accomplishment working in the IT department at DLS is how different the journey is everyday. The technology projects both Dennis and I collaborate on with others in and  around the school each day is fulfilling. I believe the IT department has a small part in making De La Salle’s Mission a success by supporting the growing technological needs of the school and the community I serve. It is my privilege to be working alongside such awesome people to build what we have built, and we will continue to build.  I’m excited to see where the next leg of this technology journey takes this great school.”

Mrs. Anderson came to De La Salle with 25 years of experience working for EDS (Electronic Data Systems). Her sons are both DLS graduates; Kyle (‘13) attended Michigan State University (MSU), and now works in Chicago for an advertising company, while Ryan (‘17) is now a sophomore at MSU.

Mrs. Anderson, and her husband, Pat have been married 24 years, and make their home in Shelby Township. Pat is a Network Administrator for NTT/Dell, Inc. They are members of St. Isidore Parish, where Mrs. Anderson is a lector.
