In the coming months, your son will be completing his De La Salle education, and beginning, or commencing, his life after high school, an occasion we hope will be memorable for him and your family. The following information details the events surrounding graduation:

GRAD COMPOSITE/SENIOR PORTRAIT: We are pleased to have Kaiser Studios as our professional portrait studio. Portraits are to be taken at the Troy studio: Parents should schedule a senior portrait session starting this summer (yearbook only or full session).  Sitting fees apply – see the link below for information. Once they process the images at their office, they will email a link so you can select a headshot.. If a pose is not selected, Kaiser Studios will select one for the student. Per school guidelines, only gown poses are permitted in the yearbook and on the graduate composite. Senior pictures taken by other studios and photographers will not be accepted. Once Kaiser submits  your yearbook images to the school, all parent/student requests regarding pose changes, etc. will be directed to Mr. Westphal, the yearbook advisor. Kaiser will NOT make any changes to a pose selection without written email permission from the yearbook advisor. Click HERE for the packages/prices. COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE LETTERS & SCHOLARSHIP LETTERS: As your sons begin to receive their  acceptance letters and scholarship award please send a copy to Andrew Campbell in the Counseling Office. The school uses this  important data to assist and inform families as to where students were accepted and what types of scholarships are available.

FINAL TRANSCRIPTS: Before graduation, you must log into your Parchment.com account and request delivery of  your final De La Salle transcript with proof of graduation. This final transcript must be sent to the school you plan on  attending next fall. Please meet with your counselor prior to graduation to confirm this has been completed.

SUMMER SCHOOL: Seniors who fail academic subjects may participate in commencement exercises, but do not  receive their diploma. Students must attend summer school if they fail a course. The counselors will contact parents directly regarding summer school placement.

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS: All financial obligations must be satisfied prior to Friday, May 1st. This includes tuition,  returning athletic equipment, music or drama items, and other fees owed to the school. Contact Jane Bertelsen with questions.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 586-541-6203 or amichol@delasallehs.com. Two more  additional letters will be sent throughout the year in a special senior mailing to keep you updated on all events.
