Three Sign to Play College Sports

Three De La Salle Collegiate senior athletes signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, committed to extending their athletic careers at the college level. 

They include Bryce Bush, committed to play baseball at Mississippi State University; Anthony Comito, committed to play golf at Oakland University, and Kyle Jones, committed to play baseball at the University of Toledo. 

All three are accomplished athletes for De La Salle. 

Bryce Bush, (Baseball – 3B, 1B, OF) is

  • Currently ranked as 44th-best player in USA (Perfect Game)
  • MHSBCA 1st team All-State (2x)
  • MHSBCA Dream Team
  • 2016 Perfect Game Michigan Player of the Year (2017)
  • School Single Season HR record holder (16)
  • Rawlings Underclass All-American (2017)
  • MLB High School HR Derby Participant
  • All-Catholic League (3x)
  • All-Central Division (3x)

Anthony Comito – Golf

  • MIGCA All-State Honorable Mention (2017)
  • All-Catholic League (2x)
  • All-Central Division (2x)
  • 1st Team All-Macomb County (3x)
  • State Finalist (3x)
  • 4-year varsity starter
  • 77.5 18-hole average
  • Part of top-ranked MIGCA all-academic team (3.808 team GPA)

Kyle Jones, (Baseball – P, OF), University of Toledo
